yup, that’s right.  2 more cats. Are we …

yup, that’s right.  2 more cats.

Are we insane?  Quite possibly.  It’s a big house though.

In any case, I’m going to have to make a new blog – “2 cats 1 house” isn’t really accurate anymore.  😛

    what the…

those… those humans brought home imposters.  2 of them.  and instead of shoving them back out the door where they belong, they are cuddling them.  and smooching them.  and playing with them.  it’s disgusting!

they’re playing with MY toys.  they’re gonna break my stuff.  and nobody seems to care.

I have made it very clear that they need to leave.  NOW.  I have used some very, very foul language.  but they just don’t care!  they’re still here!!!  this had BETTER be temporary.

    Thank heaven for cat doors.

    Aaaaahh.  Peace.  Quiet.

    Sleep.

It’s true, the kitten has had free rein of the house for some time now.  However, the pets thought it was time that she learned how to use the cat door.  (Our food and litter boxes are in their own room, separated from the rest of the house by a closed door with a cat door in it.  I think it’s marvellous how they respect our privacy.)

She can’t.  I think she’s stupid.  There are a pile of toys in there, and all she wants to do is play, she can’t even be bothered to use the door.

Either way, whether she’s too dumb or too easily distracted, it means that I get a little peace and quiet.  Heavenly.

      I cannot believe I am saying this…

I MISS her! It’s too quiet in here! I don’t like this at all. 😦

I think I’m going to go sit with her downstairs for a while… maybe I can teach her how to use the cat door.

    tooooooooys!!!!!

now that i’m free all the time i’ve had time to explore – and i can’t believe all the great stuff i’ve found!!!

there’s this thing that is full of toys!!!  so many of them!  there are catnip toys, jingly things, rolly things… it’s heaven!  i’ve strategically spread them all through the house, just in case there’s a toy emergency and i need one right away.  the jingly ones are my favourite.  😀

oooh and now that i’m out all the time i’ve found a new thing to play with – when the pets are sleeping they twitch sometimes, and then i attack!!!  fearsome predator, i am.  they better be glad i’m around, protecting them.

    How could she?

How could she?  How dare she?

The female pet left.  I have no idea where she is.  She is the one who feeds me, loves me, gives me snuggles – and she’s gone!

The male pet is still here.  I try and still be affectionate, to still be a ‘good’ cat… but he ignores me when I tell him I’m hungry, and his idea of snuggling is picking me up when I did not ask to be and squeezing me like a stuffed toy.  I can’t help it, I make squeaky noises when he does that and he thinks its hilarious.

She’d better come back soon.  What with that kitten AND the she-pet being gone… I might just have a breakdown.

    I am beautiful.

Gaze upon my beauty in wonder and amazement.  Am I not glorious?  The pinnacle of all creation that is the cat.  The pets have the nerve to call me fat.  They are simply jealous that they do not possess the lovely svelte figure of a graceful feline.

About 15 years ago,I bought a coffee mug that had a very large cat on it and it said, “I’m NOT fat,I’m FLUFFY.” I’ve used that line ever since for everything from my cats to myself. Ignore the pets, fluffy is beautiful…

    the big fat one

the big fat one is funny… sometimes she wants to play with me, and then sometimes she runs away from me.  which is fun too.  😀  i think she thinks she’s my mommy.  i know she’s not, but i miss my mom… it’s kind of nice that she takes care of me.  she’s a good substitute mom.

    Oh. My. Word.

I think all my grey hair is going to turn white.  Or maybe fall off.

That kitten is out all the time now.  At first the pets kept her seperate.  Her own litter box and all that in the bathroom downstairs.  Which wasn’t really fair in itself, because there were all sorts of wonderful toys and things in there that I couldn’t get at.  Now… well, I think I’d prefer not being able to get at the toys and have her locked up again.

Don’t get me wrong.  She makes a good pillow sometimes.  And it is nice to have somebody around.  But all the time??  She won’t leave me alone.  I can’t get a moment’s peace anymore.  I am seriously sleep deprived.

This message is from my cat Bella: I feel your pain. I had a kitten in February and she’s STILL here, mom glomming me and stealing the plastic pieces out from under me. I wish they’d give her her own room.

Life is rough sometimes, isn’t it Bella? Do they give your kitten special food too? Here I am starving, and she gets all she wants. It just isn’t FAIR!!!

From Bella: I’m pretty lucky I guess since I get all the dry food I want and a few times a week human mom splits a can of food between me and my spawn but the fact that the little one gets the same treatment as me when I was here first is so unfair. Doesn’t seniority count for anything? We should stage a protest.

We really should. What should we do? Barf all over their carpets? Shred their drapes? Fart in their faces? Or perhaps all of the above?

Congrats on your freedom. I’d watch your housemate, though. Sounds like Kate may be looking for ways to lock you up away from her, so beware any doors slamming shut. 😉
